2. Research Assistantship for the study of Ph. D program in Agricultural Economics from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, December, 1969.
3. Research Assistantship for the study of M.S program in Agricultural Economics from North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND, August, 1967.
4. Award of Fulbright scholarship for five-month training in Youth Leadership and Social Workers in the US, April, 1966
5. Gold Medal for securing the First Rank at the University level in M.A.in Rural Economics and Cooperatives at the graduation ceremony, Vidyalaya Rural Institute, Coimbatore, July, 1966.
6. First Prize in Essay Competition on Cooperatives organized by the Council for Higher Education, Government of India among the post-graduate students at the national level, 1965.
7. As one of the two students selected to represent the Gandhigram Rural Institute at the national debate competition in New Delhi on Role of Cooperatives in Indian economy, 1963.
8.  Selected as one of the best Gram Sevaks to be awarded by the Government of India with the meritorious scholarship to study undergraduate program at the Gandhigram Rural Institute, June 1962.
